Sarah will be addressing the common questions and struggles parents face with sleep for babies ages 0-12 months. You will learn about different sleep training approaches, how to set realistic to expectations, how to prepare and plan for sleep training, and how to assess whether you and your baby are ready.
We will cover the following topics:
What is realistic to expect for day and night sleep and how to stay sane
Creating a healthy bedtime routine and setting up a predictable daytime routine
How to prepare and plan for sleep change
Regressions--what are they and strategies for navigating through them
Pro’s & con’s of various sleep methods (Ferber, CIO, low/no-cry methods)
How to get your baby to sleep more independently
Best practices for naps
This workshop is appropriate if you are pregnant and want to prepare ahead of time, or are a new parent and experiencing sleep challenges. Pre-crawleing babies are welcome!

Sarah Healy, MA is a mother of two, Certified Infant Sleep Consultant, and parent coach specializing in the transitions that occur in the first year after the birth of a child. She holds a master’s in psychology and has devoted 20 years of her career to infant and child development, and family support. Sarah uses an evidence based approach to her sleep classes and draws from a multidimensional approach in understanding the various situations that occur with sleep and families.
