Hy Long believes in energetic presence and the power of movement to activate, settle and re-cultivate energy. How we are able to channel that energy through our bodies, our breath and ultimately into our lives is why he loves yoga and wants to share as a teacher.

I have always been a mover and shaker, and as a dancer, being in the studio was what nourished me most. Beginning yoga was not so much a deliberate nor conscious choice, rather a natural progression from one art form to another. Yoga is an extension of what has always intrinsically lived inside me, another way to physically and spiritually release, create and regulate.
In a nutshell, why do you teach yoga?
In a few words: to help evolve consciousness. I have long been facilitating ‘aha’ moments, deeper insights and expansive revelations for others. Like a hummingbird, I joyously flit into your life to flap my wings of iridescent offerings, dropping bits of nectar into your awareness, so you may continue your resolve to evolve.
In a nutshell, why do you teach yoga?
I am passionate about sharing the yoga practice with as many people as I can so they can connect to their bodies, minds, and hearts. It’s exciting to see students embody their true radiance and power and learn to trust their intuition and ability to co-create with life.
