Join us on October 27th at Metta Mama for a special Panel: The Journey from Perimenopause to Menopause: How To Maximize Your Hormonal Health!
If you are not located locally, you can still attend, virtual option available!
Have you been noticing any of the below shifts in your life?
Heightened anxiety
Headaches
Reduced stress tolerance
Irritability
Poor sleep
These are not signs/symptoms that you have to disregard and accept as the “new you”. This could be the onset of perimenopause, which can happen for some as early as their mid-30’s, but usually begins in your 4th decade. All of the above symptoms are a result of declining progesterone in your body.
The transition into perimenopause all the way through to menopause is often confusing for women. We are not told what to expect or what to look out for, what the best course of action is and where to go for assistance during this important life transition.
The common symptoms you hear about during this time, which can range from 8-10 years for some women, are hot flashes and night sweats, but there are many other symptoms that can arise from the hormonal changes taking place in your body. Bone density loss, cognition and metabolic changes, decrease in libido and vaginal dryness are just a few.
All of these changes can feel awful and overwhelming and confusing, especially when you don’t know who to turn to for guidance. We are thrilled to offer the Metta Mama community a panel discussion on the journey from perimenopause to menopause with experts in the field of women’s hormone health so YOU can learn more about what to expect during this transformational time and what you can do to support yourself to feel more at ease.
The panel includes:
Osteopath and hormone health practitioner Jacqueline Chan, DO
Ayurvedic and Functional Nutrition Practitioner Nimisha Gandhi
Dr. Mara Canizzaro L.Ac
Dr. Anat Sapan, a board certified OBGYN and member of the Institute of Bioidentical Medicine.
The panelists will each speak on their areas of focus related to women’s hormone health, followed by a Q&A with audience members. Read their Bio below.
